Memphis pizza cafes are a dime-a-dozen, but if you want to find the best one, look no further than Gary Garlington’s Memphis Pizza Cafe. The owner has been making his signature thin-crust pies in this city since 1993 and has expanded over the years to five locations now operating in Midtown at Overton Square, East Memphis on Park Avenue, Germantown, Collierville and Southaven.
Memphis Pizza Cafe has crowd-pleasing, super-crispy, flaky, crunchy, thin-crust pizza that can hold against any toppings. It makes a mighty fine buffalo chicken pie, but the local favorite is the Alternative, a simple pizza with no sauce — olive oil — topped with garlic, tomato, crushed basil, and cheese.
With options ranging from the Ultimate Cheese, made with mozzarella, cheddar, and feta; to the popular Cajun Chicken Supreme, with blackened chicken, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
There’s even S’Mores dessert pizza and breakfast pizzas on Saturdays until 3 pm.

Memphis is home to six restaurants, including Aldo’s Pizza Pies, operated by Aldo and his partners, Clif Lee & Phil Lauck.
Aldo’s two locations serve big, New York-style pizzas loaded with fresh toppings. The pizzas are built on a well-made thin crust with a plump and bready rim and an appealing shine that looks like it comes from an egg wash. Food delivery is just one of many great things about this place. The staff are very welcoming, and service has been described as adequate by visitors who frequent the restaurant.
Open daily Sunday to Thursday 11am – 10pm and Weekends Friday and Saturday 11am – 11pm.

High Point is a family-owned pizzeria near Shelby Farms Greenline’s access point. There is Ms Pacman table console, and they have something for everyone.
The menu offers a great selection of standard and specialty pizzas, and the daily special always brings the wow factor. The crust is thin and foldable, and is brushed with a mouthwatering garlic butter.
High Point Pizza has a great deal for families and date nights. When the weather’s fine, a few outdoor tables are set up, and with the nearby greenline and a few more local businesses in the same strip mall, the people watching is always good. Beer is served, but you can bring your own wine, too – and there’s no corkage fee.

Garibaldi’s has been a locally-owned Memphis tradition of serving quality Italian cuisine at affordable prices since 1975. Since opening the original Garibaldi’s Pizza on Walker Avenue near the University of Memphis, Garibaldi’s have been opened two other locations: one in Germantown at the Market Square Business Center and the other on Yates Road in the heart of East Memphis. The Walker and Germantown stores offer dine-in, carry-out and home/office delivery, while the Yates location only offers carry-out and home/office delivery.
Their bread, doughs, and sauces are prepared in-house daily using only the finest, freshest ingredients. Their pasta, appetizers, salads, and extensive catering menu are stellar, but the pizza is what endlessly draws us back. Choose between their classic hand-tossed pies or the Neapolitan-style thin-crust pizza. Whichever way you go, you won’t be disappointed.
One of their goals, aside from community focus and Memphis pride, is to have something for everyone—and they do. Order at any of their three locations for excellent service and delicious pizza.
